Three great resources for free or cheap college text books

by Joseph on January 29, 2008

Project Gutenberg has long been a favorite of mine for free books online, from classics to unknown texts this is an amazing place to go for casual reading or research. With thousands of books available for download its well worth checking out.

WikiBooks, run by the Wikipedia Foundation is another great source of free or open source books that will help meet your researching needs.

Lastly if you are just looking to do some comparision shopping on textbooks I’d strongly recommend CompareTextbook.com it’s a simple comparison shopping engine for new and used textbooks that could help save you thousands of dollars on text books next semester.
